About the Item

An antique French patinated bronze group of a classical woman seated on a chair and spinning thread. She has a basket of spun thread to her side. Holding a thread at her feet is the kneeling figure of a winged Cupid. The bronze is very well modelled and cast and the patination is original and in excellent condition.
