French sculpture in terracotta of an antique female torso 1970s
The torso is floating and has a kind of wall in the back for mounting.
The supporting wall is attached to a small marble base and presents the classical torso of a woman from classical antiquity.
The curves of the body are emphasized by the implied robe laid over it.
The tunic is knotted below the chest and falls over the whole body, one shoulder is uncovered.
At the upper end, below the neck, the garment has a small ornamental border.
Very decorative, small sculpture with fine details and an elegant appearance, stamped signature at the bottom back.
