Graceful Wallendorf Ice Skater Figurine, Germany, 1950s – Large Model A beautifully detailed large Wallendorf porcelain figurine of an elegant female ice skater, produced in Thuringia, Germany, circa 1950s. The skater is shown in a graceful pose with outstretched arms and a flowing dress, perfectly capturing the elegance and movement of the sport. The figure is hand-painted in soft pastel tones with delicate shading, and decorated with subtle gold details on the earrings and skates. The underside is marked with the Wallendorf crown and "W 1764" stamp, together with the model number 1663/II. This is the large model (II version), measuring approximately 9 in. (23 cm) high, 11.8 in. (30 cm) wide and 4.7 in. (12 cm) deep. Maker: Wallendorf Porcelain Origin: Thuringia, Germany Date: ca. 1950s Markings: Crown W 1764, 1663/II Materials: porcelain, hand-painted, gold accents good vintage condition; one finger is partly broken (see photos).
