Genuine tall alabaster sculpture by Guglielmo PUGI (1858-1941), Florence, Italy, 1880s. Young girl with tambourine, perhaps a gypsy. On its base. Direct carving. With base - Height : 24.6"(62.5cm), Width : 10"(25.5cm), Depth : 10.6"(27cm). Height without base : 23.6"(60cm). Weight : 22.2 kgs. Very good condition.

Guglielmo Pugi
Guglielmo Pugi, born in Fiesole, Italy, was an Italian sculptor whose studio was in Florence. He was present at the 1901 World Fair in Buffalo and some of their sculptures are still in Buffalo parks today.
