Hand Sculpture- Industrial Metal Glove Mold Hand from French Factory, 1950s
Authentic industrial vertical dipping glove mold in the form of a life-size metal hand, originally used in plastic and rubber glove manufacturing workshops.
The rectangular wrist mounting plate, pierced with two original holes, allowed the mold to be fixed vertically onto workbenches or production frames for dipping into liquid PVC or latex.
The hand has been carefully stripped to reveal the raw metal surface, while areas of original melted plastic have been intentionally left in place, creating a beautifully textured patina and highlighting its industrial history.
Mid-20th century, circa 1950–1965.
Good vintage condition with honest industrial wear.
A rare industrial artifact !
