A charming Italian 19th century terra cotta statue of a young Bacchus. The statue is raised by an oblong base where the handsome young man stands in front of a tree trunk. He has a pouch at his hip that is strapped over his shoulder. Bacchus holds finely detailed grape clusters in one hand and a goblet close to his chest in the other. Wonderful proportions and attention to detail throughout.
