About the Item
Alluring sculpture by the distinguished German artist featuring an oriental dancer woman dancing gracefully on a black Portero marble triangle base. It captures the dancer's mesmerizing movements as she gracefully stands on her tippy toes, embodying the fluidity and expressiveness of traditional dance.
The nude upper body of the dancer is only dressed with a traditional head veil. From the waist down, she is wearing flowing skirts with two carved masks adorning her waist.
Made in Germany, c. 1900's. Signed "Morin" on base.
