A stylish midcentury Danish terracotta pottery sculpture of a fisherman sat on a rock and catching fish with a trident by Lauritz Adolph Hjorth. The figure is glazed in white with elements of the natural terracotta showing through the glaze and is marked with various incised and impressed marks to the base. Offered in excellent condition.
Provenance: from a large private collection of Scandinavian, mainly Danish, pottery and associated period items.
