Striking Art Deco crackle-glaze ceramic sculpture titled “Woman and Fawn,” created by Lejan and produced at the Sarreguemines manufactory in France around 1930. This elegant piece showcases the soft, flowing lines and serene compositions that define the finest French Art Deco ceramics.
The sculpture features a young woman gently interacting with a fawn, rendered in a beautiful cream crackle glaze that highlights the period’s refined decorative style. The work is marked “Sarreguemines” and “5566” (the mark is very hard to photograph but fully present).
