About the Item
A contemporary lead crystal figurine titled “Kiwok” from the Masqot Series by Mats Jonasson. Made in Malaras, Sweden. Circa 1990s. The crystal block is etched from the back to create the mask composition. Hand-painted with vibrant organic colors. Mats Jonasson (1945- ) is a Swedish glass designer. He is notable for his engraved lead crystal sculptures of flowers and wildlife that are manufactured by the glassworks that are marketed around the world. From a private collection. Dimensions: 8.25”h x 5”w x 2.25”d. In very good condition.
