DESIGNER: MICHAEL VICTOR ACIER (1736 - 1799) / DESIGN MADE CIRCA 1779
TECHNIQUE: HANDMADE PORCELAIN
SPECIFICATIONS:
1) We're presenting here a GARDENER GIRL SEIZING A WREATH OF WINE GRAPES AND LEAVES, in which a bird has sat down: It is SYMBOL OF FALL / AUTUMN ! - The figurine is supported by marble column as well as it is attached to round base decorated with partially golden painted Rocaille ornaments.
2) The GARDENER BOY holds a basket filled with wine grapes as well as he seizes a hat (this figurine is SYMBOL OF FALL / AUTUMN , too) . - The gardener boy is supported by marble column as well as it is attached to round base decorated with partially golden painted Rocaille ornaments.

The sculptor was born at Versailles / France. He had studied Art of Sculpture in Paris and was appointed as sculptor of Meissen Porcelain Manufactory then (1762). Acier created many models generally in style of Rococo and specially in Watteau style. Finally, the sculptor became Model Master of the Saxon King in year 1780, moving to Dresden then. - MODEL C 59 CREATED CIRCA 1768 - 70.
