The figure is crafted in a clean, Modern Scandinavian style with simplified forms and lines. Made entirely of porcelain, the surface is finished with a glaze and meticulously hand-painted detailing. The work is stamped on the base with the mark of Bing Grøndahl, the renowned 19th century danish porcelain manufacturer from Copenhagen. The company was known for its mid-20th century pieces and signature dinnerware.
