About the Item
This large sculpture was made by the well known Marchio Di Frabbrica Depositato factory of Italy in approximately 1960 in the period Mid-Century Modern style. The sculpture is composed of ceramic and depicts a seated cross legged Thai dancer in a very realistic manner using a combination of matte and glossy glazes and is titled "Soray". The base is clearly signed in hand-painted black glaze on the base as presented.
