A religious pair of monumental wooden sculptures depicting Jesus and Mary from the Berks County Pennsylvania Jesuit Center. This dynamic hand-carved pair of folk art statutes were probably commissioned specially for the Jesuit Center. Carved with an Italianate folk art style. The very fine intricate carving of hands, toes, and faces is extraordinary.
