About the Item
Gorgeous, and very unusual, vintage Murano hand blown orange polka dot, lavender purple, gold and silver flecks Italian art glass Parisian woman playing an accordion. Created in the manner of the Seguso Vetri d’Arte company, and master glass artist designer Alfredo Barbini. Her dress has an acid texture over the silver leaf surface, with large dot pattern that looks to be in between the glass layers. She is accented with gold leaf throughout, including the accordion, beret on her head and base. Highly detailed face. Would make a great display piece on any vanity, console table or bookshelf. You will be able to showcase it as a decorative piece in any room. Mid-century era. Measures 11 3/4" tall x 5” long at the arms x 3 3/4” wide.
