Pair of 18th-century English lead putti, originally intended as architectural or garden ornaments. Young, draped putti in contrapposto stance, each holding their arms aloft—likely once supporting urns, finials, or elements of a larger decorative feature such as a gate pier, balustrade, or fountain surround. C. 1770. h. 28-1/4", w. 10-1/8", d. 9-7/8"
