Pair of 20th century decorative biscuit porcelain sculptures with jewelry boxes By: unknown Material: porcelain, paint Technique: hand-painted, molded, painted, pressed, unglazed Dimensions: 5 in x 4 in x 5.5 in Date: early 20th century, circa 1930 Style: Art Déco Place of origin: France Pair of biscuit porcelain figures representing two men sitting and talking. Both figures have been made with meticulousness in the details of the clothing and body. It has natural wear but is generally in good condition. The pieces have boxes or small drawers located under the seats, perfectly useful for jewelry, for example. The boxes are located in the lower rear bottom of the seats and they have small handles that allow them to be opened like drawers. Highly detailed and expressive figures. In good general condition, natural wear.
