About the Item

A very fine pair of 18th century carved figures, of Court Jesters These bearded gentlemen have been superbly carved in the finest detail, they original came from a piece of early 18th Century Furniture. Both the characters have finely detailed clothing, beards and expressive faces. Each of them is sitting on a square pedestal column and supports a platform on their head where the piece supported the upper part of the cabinet.
