About the Item

A charming pair of French 19th century Louis XVI st. patinated Bronze, Ormolu, and marble cherub statues. This wonderful pair is raised by a Black Belgian marble square plinths above a Rouge Griotte marble mottled circular column. Both patinated Bronze cherubs are seated with a cloth draped on each of their laps. One cherub holds a tambourine while the other plays his flute. Wonderful detail throughout, as well as charming facial expressions.
