A most elegant and extremely decorative pair of French 19th century Neo-Classical st. Stone statues. Each stunning life-size female statue is raised by a square base and wearing a draping classical garment. One maiden is standing next to a tree stump while holding a weaved basket atop of the stump filled with fruits, while the other holds bundle of wheat.
*Originally from the gardens of a prestigious 18th century property in Bordeaux, with wonderful and original patination throughout.
