About the Item
Introducing a rare, hand-made sculpture depicting the iconic theoretical physicist Albert Einstein carrying a large stack of books. The book stack is actually a hidden wooden storage cabinet with three fixed shelves accessed by a hinged door. One eye features a glass monocle attached via a gold metal chain that also functions as a latch to secure the front facing cabinet door. The lacquered paint, expertly applied by the artisans, is in remarkably excellent original, vintage condition.
With very few of these statues made, these highly-collectable Einstein statues are ideal for collectors and designers alike searching for the perfect accent piece for any classroom, library or office setting. This emotive statue is in 100% original, vintage condition and has aged to perfection. The mixture of fiberglass and plastered composition is remarkably good shape given its age showing only two small puncture holes in the base (shown in the detail photos provided) as well as a minor surface scratch here and there but showing no other wear whatsoever. The lacquered paint is also in remarkably excellent condition showing now wear aside from a minor surface scratch here and there.
