Saint Barbara, polychrome wood carving, 18th century, 50 cm This 18th-century polychrome wood devotional sculpture depicts Saint Barbara, recognizable by the chalice she holds as a symbol of faith and martyrdom. Standing 50 cm tall, the carving retains much of its original red and gold polychromy, highlighting the dynamism of the drapery folds and the delicacy of the face. The wear visible before restoration, now stabilized, confirms its age and gives the piece a unique character. It is a highly interesting example of Baroque folk art, ideal for collectors and sacred spaces. 48 cm high, 20 cm wide, 55 cm with base

The Sculpture is hand painted with some remains of a gold gilt in few places and originated until lately in a private Villa in Tuscany (Italy).
