This is an unknown Santos de Palos. It depicts a polychromed hand carved wood sculpture of a man wearing a long robe and black boots. He has long hair, moustache and a beard. He is also carrying in his left hand a large book ( probably the Bible). The wood sculpture is standing over an octagonal shaped base. A renown tradition in Latin America the making of Santos de Palos by masters carvers since 19th century.
