About the Item

Striking large-format metal sculpture group offering a three-dimensional interpretation of Pablo Picasso’s iconic mural Guernica. This ensemble translates the symbolic and emotional power of the original painting into sculptural language, where each character gains presence, volume, and expressive intensity through sharply defined forms and layered silhouettes. Central figures such as the bull, the wounded horse, the mourning mother, and the figure in flames are all reimagined as individual freestanding sculptures that together reconstruct the powerful scene. The surface treatment ,subtle satin and darkened finishes, evokes the original grayscale palette of the painting. One figure is signed with the artist initials “AB”, and the entire work was handcrafted in the late 20th century. A visually commanding and historically resonant composition, created as a sculptural homage to one of the most influential works of the 20th century. Measurements: Some figures includes its own metal base or support. The dimensions below are listed as width × height × depth of the figure alone, with total height including the base in parentheses: Bull: 30 × 24 × 7 cm (42 cm total height) Woman with baby: 22 × 16 × 7 cm (28 cm total height) Head: 8 × 27 × 4 cm Bird: 19 × 22 × 8 cm (39 cm total height) Extended arm: 10 × 26 × 4 cm Horse: 37 × 43 × 8 cm Lamp: 10 × 20 × 2 cm (47.5 cm total height) Woman with lamp: 16 × 31 × 10 cm (37 cm total height) Walking woman: 25 × 33 × 6 cm Woman in flames: 17 × 17 × 7 cm (35 cm total height) Flame background: 22 × 14 × 5 cm Lower background: 13 × 14 × 4 cm The full set includes 10 main figures, 5 metal bases, 1 custom lamp stand, and 2 background elements, designed for flexible tabletop installation.
