Sculptural mid-century Italian espresso maker from the 1940's. Incredible industrial design with fluted bakelite handle and accents. To open, unscrew the ball and it will swivel open as shown. Not intended for use, as it does have electrical components. Striking display piece. 1940's Italy possibly by Bialetti.
