The sculpture carved in polychrome wood, depicts an angel standing on a pedestal of clouds, his left hand on his chest and his right arm raised toward heaven. The figure with an extremely expressive face has an upward gaze. The angel pose is common in religious representations depicting angels in adoration. The dynamic style and expressiveness are typical of 17th-century art in Italy.
