About the artist:
Ib Braun (1933–2003) was a Danish sculptor and ceramic artist. He studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts and was a student of renowned sculptor Gottfred Eickhoff. Braun is best known for his figurative works in clay and bronze, often exploring the female form. His sculptures are marked by a calm strength and a Nordic sensibility, combining simplicity with emotional depth.
