About the Item
Beautiful and very rare, vintage Murano hand blown iridescent clear, black, purple and gold flecks Italian art glass Wiseman nativity figure, sculpture. The piece is attributed to designer Archimede Seguso. The piece is very intricate with lots of rich and elegant decorations. It has a gold crown on his head, gold container in his hands, large iridescent cape, pattern robe with aventurine circles, red earrings. The cape has a large hood as well. Every part of the sculpture is profusely covered in heavy gold leaf. The surface is also heavy iridescent, showing lots of colors under the lights. Would make a great display piece on any Christmas table setting. You will be able to showcase it as a decorative piece in any room. Mid-century era. Measures 9 1/2" tall x 5 1/2" wide x 5" long.
