From afar, one hears the prophecy of Guimarães, of that place where those in charge are strong and cunning.
Where the strong sun falls asleep towards the horizon, father and son return home with bodies heavy with fatigue. The agreste does not forgive, with a firm hand the father leads the donkey following slowly step by step.
On his shoulders the weight of supporting the family, the dignified work that ennobles and makes him proud. The simple complicity of looking into the eyes, reading in every expression hardened by the sun, and managing to feel comfortable after a long day of hard work.
The Sertão Series enchants with sculptures in simple verses, sung in a tone of affection from father to son.
