Staffordshire Pottery pearlware bocage figure group with a mythological theme. The piece features babies Romulus and Remus with a she-wolf, with birds perched in the tree behind. The scene sits on a shaped base. The piece is titled, 'ROMULUS REMUS' . Decorated mainly to the front. This piece represents part of the Roman myth of Romulus and Remus, twin brothers who were saved and suckled by a she-wolf.
