A striking and very high quality true pair of French 19th century Louis XVI st. patinated bronze statues of soldiers. Each statue is raised by a pentagonal base with a fine mottled design with beautiful foliate designs and impressive masks. Above are the handsome soldiers dressed in wonderfully executed period attire wearing armor and a hat while holding impressive spears. All original rich patina throughout.
