A wrought iron wagon wheel on stand. Indonesia, late 19th Century.
Reclaimed from an old carriage, it has been preserved intact. The inside has been refinished in dark gilt, date unknown. Small metal losses are present due to age and use.
32 inches in diameter, 2 inches thick on its outer rim. Resting freely on a bespoke metal stand measuring 14 x 8 inches.
