About the Item
Monumental modernist wall sculpture created by Rafe Affleck (1928-2015). Richard R. "Rafe" Affleck created incredible sculptural metal works for private and public installations. Referred to by the artist as "kipnotic" works, they are equally impressive for their scale and execution. Highly polished aluminum overlapping panels are finished on the reverse sides in vivid blue and orange, which is reflected on the surface of the next panel. The circular form is actually two pieces which, when mounted, form the entire sphere.
