A wonderful example of a Solnhofen Aeger eichsatt shrimp, surmounted in our AES etched brass stand, created to a high museum standard. the fossil limestone plate conserved for the perfect exhibit and decorative feature. A marvellous curiosity that will stimulate and intrigue, a genuine talking-point piece. The shellfish naturally exhibiting nineteen segmented parts, all decapod crustaceans are made up of this number; the crustacean's abdominal segments are named cephalothorax and pleon, both segment types are clearly defined along with several pereiopods, commonly referred to as the appendages, legs and antennae. Now captured in time on this wonderful lithographic Solnhofen limestone plate dating up to 155,000,000 years ago.
