Originating primarily from the region of Florence, pietra paesina's natural appearance resembles an impressionistic painting of a ruined landscape or desert. It has been collected as an ornament throughout Europe since the Middle Ages, prized particularly in the Royal Courts. Measures : 27.5" x 8".
