About the Item

Labradorite is a great classical colorful decoration mineral, and one of the most famous from Madagascar. Scientifically, the phenomenon leading to it's color changing is called adularescence, or Schiller effect. The light passing through different layers of mineral, characteristic of the feldspath to be layered, provides this irisation. Labradorite appears in many colors, and this one combines green, different blues, yellow, and orange. Known as the "stone of the healer" in lithotherapy, it is said that labradorite provides an energetic shield against other people's emotion, and strengthen the bridge between ourselves and the spiritual world.
