Opaline is a contemporary sculptural work by Hasharat, composed of preserved butterfly specimens arranged beneath an original 19th-century Napoleon III glass dome. Drawn from the Pieridae, Nymphalidae, and Papilionidae families, the butterflies are selected for their pale, opalescent tones and subtle iridescence, creating a quiet, luminous composition.
