Genuine Sericho Pallasite Meteorite
Located in New York, NY
This luminous Sericho pallasite meteorite slice offers a captivating view into the early solar system. Especially when backlit, the Olivine crystals radiate with striking transparency and color. Pallasites make up less than 1% of all known meteorites and are among the rarest and most beautiful of extraterrestrial materials. Thought to originate from disrupted asteroids in the early solar system, specimens like this one likely formed at the boundary between a molten metal core and a silicate-rich mantle – or through high-energy impacts between differentiated bodies. This meteorite slice offers a literal cross-section of planetary formation and destruction. A true standout for any meteorite, mineral, or space memorabilia...
