This stunning pair of monumental modernist hand carved rock crystal obelisks were realized in Brazil- renowned for its glorious abundance of precious and semi-precious stones- during the 20th century. They offer faceted tapered bodies that ascend to a point, sitting on rectilinear tiered bases with spherical detailing separating the base from the faceted obelisk. With its impressively large scale and beautiful quality of rock crystal (replete with a natural wealth of subtle grisaille tones, this pair of obelisks are as sophisticated as they are dramatic. Their clean lines and monochromatic palate make them an excellent choice for any style of interior from traditional to contemporary. They are in excellent vintage condition.
