Possibly the rarest color combination found in Brazilian agates, this specimen displays exceptional characteristics and is considered Super Extra grade for its beauty, formation, and pristine condition. An outstanding agate that will make a remarkable addition to any crystal collection or decorative space.
The white agate lace is a delicate, aesthetic that highlights the geode's initial growth phase within a volcanic rock cavity. This lace provided room for the rare clear quartz to develop. This kind of agate is exceptionally rare, considering the crystal-infused nature, the challenges in cutting without crumbling, and the sugar druzy at its core, considered to be a gallery-worthy specimen.

You may be wondering, how were the white lace layers formed?
It's just amazing: agates normally form inside bubbles or cavities of igneous (volcanic) basalt and, over time, are filled with layers of water with high concentrations of silica. The water is slowly evaporated, forming a layer of silica gelatin and then a layer is formed. It is a very slow process and each layer contains different impurities, thus forming different colored bands. Fantastic, right?
