This uniquely rare, large, and beautiful agate geode will surely elevate your collection or space. It is a spectacular piece, meticulously cut open to showcase the rarely-seen blue and white lace patterns—a true celebration of nature’s artistry that creates a frame for the White Galaxy to shine.
The first thing that draws attention is its formation, where the agate laces circumvented a non-homogeneous lava cave, forming rarely seen “sexy lines,” as if sculpted into the basalt rock.
And then, over millions of years, nature formed the white and blue agate layers with bold, tri-colored laces. It began with sky-blue layers, one after another, until an intense blue layer formed, eventually giving way to the rarely seen white agate lace. This gradual process created an aesthetic frame for the white, galaxy-like druzy crystals that formed within the geode’s cavity.
The druzy itself is exceptional. Its small, perfectly formed crystal points shine subtly, adding to the geode’s overall beauty without overshadowing the stunning agate that encases it.
Another rare characteristic of this agate geode is its intact continuity. The agate laces flow seamlessly throughout the entire piece, making it truly one-of-a-kind.

You may be wondering how the lace agate layers formed:
It’s fascinating: agates typically form inside bubbles or cavities in igneous (volcanic) basalt. Over time, these cavities fill with water rich in silica. As the water slowly evaporates, it leaves behind layers of silica gel, which harden into bands. Each layer contains different impurities, resulting in the distinctive colored bands you see. Fantastic, right?
