About the Item
Sculpture designed and produced by artist and designer Raffaello Biagetti in 1990 in Italy. The sculpture is made from a 100-year-old, sectioned tree trunk set in an iron base and painted gold. The work reflects the creative vision of Raffaello Biagetti, who began his figurative research as a painter and later as a designer, becoming a protagonist of the international Italian design scene and also designing for Memphis Milano. Raffaello Biagetti collaborated with numerous brands and designers, and founded the "Museum of Contemporary Furniture" in 1988, in which international artists such as Klaus Koening, Ettore Sottsass, Gae Aulenti and Piero Castiglioni collaborated. The product is in good condition with slight marks due to the passage of time.
