About the Item
The artist, Karoly Veress was born in 1935 in Transylvania. In the turbulent 40s and 50s, Veress moved first to Hungary and then to The Netherlands where he studied art and started to produce sculptures currently in many private and corporate collections, including that of Her Majesty Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands, and those of the Dutch and German governments. Today Veress shares his time between the Niagara region in Canada, and a small village in Hungary.
