About the Item
Luca Madrassi was born in Tricesimo, Italy but migrated to France to study sculpture at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Paris. He and became a member of the Society of French Artists in 1890. He received honorable mention in 1881, 1882, 1883 and 1885 and a third class in 1896. He exhibited at the Paris Salon from 1896 onward.
