About the Item
Try as we might, we have not been able to find any information on the signature written on this very unusual sculpture. In terms of dating, we know that the rotary dial phone made it into general use in 1919 through 'Bell' and was subsequently phased out from the 1940s onwards (although they were still being produced as late as 2006.) We assume this is an early model as it still has the top button to call the local excahnge.
