Antique Art Nouveau Glass Apothecary Jar
This antique piece of blown glass is distinguished by its vibrant, deep blue color. It features an elegant, wavy silhouette characteristic of Art Nouveau, with a body featuring vertical pleats or "petals" that give it an organic, fluid texture. It is richly decorated with intricate applied gold details (possibly gold enamel), which enhance the contours and folds of the glass. The gilded design includes stylized floral motifs and arabesques extending from the neck. The jar is complete with its original matching bulbous stopper, also decorated with gold motifs.
