About the Item
This antique set of four stoppered scent or perfume bottles was made in France in circa 1880 in the period Victorian style by an unknown maker. The uniquely shaped three sided bottles are done in mottled art glass using a deep red within a yellowish and cloudy white glass with gilt finished stoppers. The four bottles fit into an ornately cast, most likely brass, carriage or holder with a leaf and flower motif garland surround and stepped base with complimentary leaf decorations. The base is clearly stamped "France" on the bottom.
