About the Item
Decorative ceramic bottle produced by Kupittaan Savi, Turku, Finland, in the 1950s. Sculptural form with a textured dark exterior and glazed interior in deep green and blue tones, centered by a distinct violet circular detail.
A characteristic example of Finnish mid-century studio pottery.
The piece retains the original maker’s label on the base and is incised Finland. The base shows a small mark; otherwise the bottle is in very good vintage condition with minimal signs of age.
