A very good looking well made and decorative piece, the main body and stopper are heavily cut glass crystal, the stopped mount is fully hallmarked Sterling Silver which reads as follows
DATE LETTER:- H for 1891
TOWN MARK:- Shield for Chester
STERLING SILVER:- Sideways Lion for Sterling
MAKERS MARK:- W.V&S for William Vale
Sons
The condition is perfect so far as I can see, I can't see any issues inside the rim which is where they commonly chip, this is a superfine example
