About the Item
Beautiful and very rare Murano hand blown pink and red orange spots on black surface Italian art glass decanter. Documented to designer Ermanno Toso for the Fratelli Toso company. The design is published in many books, and is called "Nerox a Pentoni". The last photo shows the design in a book. The drawing next to it actually shows the elongated canes used for my piece. This bottle still retains its original stopper and original blue and silver "Murano Glass - Made In Italy" label as shown. Have owned several of these decanters and it is very unusual to have the entire surface be metallic black. Would make a great display piece on any credenza, console table or shelving unit. Mid-century era. Collectors item! Measures: 17” tall x 4” wide.
